An orb of acid about 3 inches across shoots from your palm at its target, dealing 1d8 points of damage of chosen element per caster level (except sonic, which is 1d6 per caster level).
You must succeed on a ranged touch attack to hit your target.
Furthermore, a creature struck by the orb suffer one of the following effects depends on the element.

A successful Fortitude save negates the effect but does not reduce the damage.
