This blast shape causes your eldritch blast to take the shape of an explosive projectile that hurtles down from the sky and detonates at your enemies' location. An eldritch meteor has a range of long (400 feet + 40 feet/level) and affects all creatures and unattended objects in a 40-foot radius spread. No ranged touch attack is required, but a successful Reflex save halves the damage.\n\nFor the purpose of cover, the eldritch meteor is considered to originate 100 feet directly above the origin point, rather than from your square; if the intended destination has total cover from the origin point, the eldritch meteor strikes the barrier and detonates prematurely. If the damage caused to an interposing barrier shatters or breaks through it, the eldritch meteor's spread may continue beyond the barrier if the area permits; otherwise it stops at the barrier just as any other spell effect does.
